Digital navigation

Computer-assisted implantology
In our practice, we work with computer-assisted navigation systems for special implantology issues. This "guided surgery" concept is based on the imaging procedure of digital volume tomography on the one hand, and on special computer programs on the other, which provide us with 3D models of the tooth and jaw situation.
This enables us to display three-dimensional images of the implant site before the procedure and to plan the implants virtually in advance.
The data obtained is used to produce drilling templates using the Stereolith process (3D printer), which are used to transfer the position planned digitally on the computer to the jaw with the utmost precision. This comprehensive preparatory work reduces the duration of the surgical procedure and optimizes the safety of the operation.
