Implantology procedure

Procedure

The implantation procedure is painless and is one of the low-risk surgical procedures. We take plenty of time in advance to explain the procedure and work with you to find the best solution for you. The implantation is performed under local anesthesia and the procedure is the same for ceramic and titanium implants.

In a minor surgical procedure, the gums are first gently opened and the implant inserted.

Like a screw in the wall, the implant is anchored in the bone and the gum above it is closed again.

Within 12 weeks, the implant is firmly fused (healed) to the bone. A healing cap for the gums is inserted

After an impression has been taken and fabricated in the laboratory, the new crown can be placed on a connecting piece.
