Aesthetics is what comes closest to nature and has an appealing effect on the surroundings. In our practice, we achieve this with tooth-colored ceramic fillings, natural and individually designed dental crowns or wafer-thin ceramic shells (veneers) that are permanently bonded to the teeth. Even minor corrections with plastic can conjure up a new smile - without sacrificing healthy tooth substance!
Gaps between teeth, discolored or broken tooth fronts, large amalgam fillings or discolored plastic crowns disrupt the harmonious overall impression of the face and aesthetics. Incidentally, this has nothing to do with cosmetics, the beautification of the appearance with cosmetic products, because unsightly teeth cannot be covered up with cosmetics or jewelry.

The all-ceramic crown made of modern glass ceramics represents the optimum in aesthetics today compared to a natural tooth. With the right design, it is almost indistinguishable from your own teeth, even for a specialist.
The color and shape should correspond to your type and come as close as possible to nature. As every tooth has different colors and transparencies, the dental crown is also made up of different colors and layers in the dental laboratory or CAD/CAM processes are used to achieve maximum precision.
The refraction of light in the tooth plays a special role here. Only a metal-free crown can achieve the same light refraction as a natural tooth.
Simple corrections of the front teeth
Even with simple resin fillings, amazing results can be achieved in many cases and a smile can be completely transformed!
Old and discolored fillings are replaced and thus become "invisible" again, small gaps between the teeth (diastema) are closed and slight misalignments or unattractive tooth shapes and colors are corrected.
In many cases, this is done without having to remove healthy tooth substance... so the healthy tooth remains completely intact!
Veneers
Veneers are wafer-thin ceramic shells that are "glued on" with or without prior grinding of the patient's own tooth, creating almost a new layer of enamel. These veneers can be used to brighten deeply discolored teeth, correct slight tooth position errors, close small gaps between teeth or repair broken teeth.
