However, there is a new method to correct the positioning of your teeth: Invisalign
After digital planing a series of see through plastic splints are being manufactured, which move your teeth step by step into the correct positioning – similar to brackets
Advantages of Invisalign:
- The splints are removable and barely visible!
- cleaning your teeth can be done in the exact same manner as you used to do it!
- The length of the treatment is similar to the one you have using brackets!
- a computer simulation will show you the results of the treatment beforehand!
Invisalign is not recommended:
- children with dental change or dental sunburst still in progress
- inadequate oral hygiene
- In order to correct deformities of your jaw bones
