Invisalign – process
After footprints of both jaw bones have been customized they will be sent to Align Tech in San Francisco and digitised there. On this basis and in connection with the information we are giving a computer simulation of the desired movement of your teeth will be made (=ClinCheck). You wil be presented this computer simulation in order to check on it and correct it if necessary. That means that you will get to see the results already before the treatment starts. !
If the simulation meets the expectations, Align Tech will manufacture the splints. Each splint is to be used for approximately 14 days. Every two weeks you will receive new splints at your doctor’s office. On these occasions the doctor will take a look at the treatment extending. The splints press in your teeth and therefore move them into the position given by the computer simulation.
In order to keep the teeth from.moving back into their primal position, a so-called retainer will be installed at the end of the treatment, as necessary with every orthodontic treatment.
The best for last: the Aligner are barely visible and can be taken out during diner as well as for cleaning!
